In 2023, Pakistan faced a series of significant challenges, including economic instability, political tensions, and social upheaval, all of which took a toll on the lives and livelihoods of its citizens. But there was another story unfolding as well, one that isn’t often the subject of news headlines: a story of resilience in the face of adversity. It’s a narrative of women and men, communities, local organizations, businesses, public officials, and development partners marshalling their resources to help the country recover from catastrophic floods and forge ahead on the path towards sustainable development for all.
