UN Resident Coordinator strongly condemns attack in Karachi University

The following statement was issued by the office of Mr. Julien Harneis, United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Pakistan:

The United Nations strongly condemns the attack in Karachi University today and is deeply saddened by the resulting loss of life. Attacks that deliberately target education, teachers, and places of learning are particularly condemnable. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the victims, both in Pakistan and in China.
