UN Resident Coordinator Condemns Deplorable Attack at Peshawar Mosque

The United Nations in Pakistan strongly condemns today’s horrific attack on a mosque in Peshawar during Friday prayers.

We mourn the loss of life and express our condolences to the bereaved families and wish a complete, speedy recovery to those injured in this attack.

Attacks that deliberately target civilians exercising the right to freely practice their religion are violations of fundamental human rights.
