25 August 2020
Five offices of the United Nations in Pakistan joined hands and stepped forward to support the people and the government of Merged Districts. These agencies included FAO, UNICEF, UNDP and UN Women. A programme, named Naway Wraz, was formed which is led by UN Resident Coordinator's Office and supported by UKAid. The programme works with the communities and the government across seven merged districts in three main areas - restoring livelihoods, providing basic services and promoting strong governance to serve the citizens.
