One UN Programme III - Pakistan Annual Report 2018

2018 was the first year of implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development

Framework (UNSDF) 2018-2022, also known as the One UN Programme III (OP III),

the third iteration of the ‘Delivering as One’ approach in Pakistan. This framework for

collaboration between the UN system and the Government of Pakistan is built around

a shared purpose: delivering as one to achieve the SDGs. The OP III’s 10 Outcome

areas, aligned with national priorities, aim to deliver the benefits of development to all

the people in Pakistan, especially the most vulnerable. Across the board, the OP III is

underpinned by the UN’s core normative principles of human rights, gender equality,

environmental sustainability and leaving no one behind.
